Floyd – Steven “Steve” Dale Floyd, Sr., age 55, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away May 12, 2020 at home with family by his side. He was born in Hialeah, Florida on October 22, 1964 to Herbert Eugene Floyd, Sr. and Ila Beatrice Scott Floyd. Steve moved to Baker County from Jacksonville 31 years ago. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, singing country music and playing his guitar. When Steve wasn’t working or fishing, he had a guitar in his hand. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Eugene Floyd, Sr.; and brother, Herbert Eugene Floyd, Jr. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Wanda Shirley Floyd of Glen St. Mary, FL; mother, Ila Beatrice Floyd of Macclenny, FL; children, Steven Dale (Lara-Leigh) Floyd, Jr., April Sue (Trey) Scott of Macclenny, FL, Matthew Vernon Floyd of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Wayne Floyd of Bryceville, FL, Davey (Donna) Floyd of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Allen Floyd of Macclenny, FL; grandchildren, Torah, Tiara, Gavin, Seth, and Faith. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Mr. James Paulk officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
