Thomas- Randall Eugene Thomas, age 64, of Starke, Florida passed away on January 8, 2022, at UF Shand’s in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Starke, FL on November 13, 1957, to the late Nathan Dickerson Thomas and Edna Jeanette Tetstone Thomas. Randall was a lifelong resident of Starke and graduated from Bradford High School in 1975. Shortly after high school Randall began working at Pantry Pride grocery store. After several years at Pantry Pride Randall found he career in the Department of Corrections. On September 9, 1994, Randall married the love of his life Vickie Jones Thomas and together they have spent 27 wonderful years. Randall enjoyed his longtime career at Lawtey Correctional Institution where he served for 26 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and riding horses. More than anything Randall loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Randall is survived by wife, Vickie Thomas of Starke, FL; his children, Doug (Kimberly) Colson of Lake Butler, FL, Candice (Kris) Rossman, and Amanda (Shane) Padgett both of Clay Hill, FL; sister, Deborah Lynn (Tommy) Brady of Starke, FL; grandchildren, Kody, Blake, Lauren, Brad, Kaylee, and Kelsey; niece, Melissa (Gary) Goetzman; and great nieces, Kenly and Maci.
