Patrick "P.J." Shomari Wesley Jr, age 19, of Jacksonville, FL passed away suddenly on October 5, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville FL, on August 4, 2002, to Patrick Shomari Wesley Sr. and Angela Thomas Wesley. He graduated from Sandalwood High School in 2020. P.J. was kindhearted, would help anyone in need. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, playing basketball with his friends, and listening to music, but more than anything, P.J. loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his mother. He was an amazing son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Thomas. P.J. is survived by his parents, Patrick Shomari Wesley, Sr. and Angela Thomas Wesley of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Michael Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Shomaria and Cailyn Wesley of Jacksonville, FL; paternal grandparents, Eddie Wesley, III and Patricia Wesley of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandmother, Inez Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of P.J.’s Life will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Beaches Memorial Park Chapel with Bishop Harry Williams, II and Bishop Percy Golden officiating. Interment will follow at Beaches Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
