Nadia Laguerre, age 63, of Jacksonville, Florida went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Orange Park Medical Center. She was born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti on June 19, 1958, to her loving parents, Cenou Laguerre and Violette Noel. Nadia was raised in Haiti where she spent the majority of her life until relocating to the United States in Jacksonville in 2013. She was most passionate about her church, Jehovah Jireh Church of God in Jacksonville, where she thoroughly enjoyed attending, praising, and worshipping. Nadia was full of life and loved keeping up with the Haitian news and cooking. She was known for her roasted peanut brittle, pastries, and cakes. Nadia also enjoyed her sweet grandbabies, loved making precious memories with them and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Lavinia Noel. Nadia is survived by her loving mother, Violette Noel of Jacksonville, FL; step mother, Paula Laguerre; children, Erby Laguerre of Haiti, Nickenson Laguerre, Olivier Laguerre, and Rodolph Laguerre all of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Esperance (Antoinnette) Laguerre, Kesnel Laguerre, Fedner Laguerre, Sidny (Miciana) Marc Noel, and Wilmark Xavier; sisters, Alette (Gesner) Legiste, Adeline (Ben) Almonor, Elaide (Gilbert) Alcime, Lauretta (Edouard) Ifrene, Paulone (Antony) Mays, Betty Laguerre, and Yolanda Noel; 7 grandchildren; local nieces and nephews, Riquet, Emmanuel, Marvin, Vava, Peggy, Kenny, Wolph, Laura, Gama, Eliazar, Schiza, Eliel, Samuel, William, Marcus, Kyla, Kevon, Ava, Victoria, Savannah, Pawnline, Benson, and Jeremiah; numerous extended family members and friends who Nadia loved dearly. A Celebration of Nadia’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:00 am at Trinity Baptist Church 800 Hammond Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL, 32221 with Reverend St Louis Jean Ricot officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Ferreira Funeral Services Chaffee chapel.
