Michelle Malave’, 57, of Orange Park, went Home to be with The Lord on December 14, 2020. She was a member of Elevate Life Church, loved art and the beach, taking her grandkids to the movies and sleepovers with her grandson, Noah. Michelle had a smile that would light up a room. Although she spent most of her life in North Florida, she was fond of the Naples and Cape Coral areas of Florida where she resided for a short time and loved her dog, Gizmo. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Buford Vaughn; grandparents, Atticus & Lois Vaughn and M.C. & Vernice Wynn. Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Leon (Jose); 4 beloved grandchildren, Noah, McKenzie, Alex & Sofia Leon; her mother, Mavis Kennon; sister, Janet Sykes (Danny) along with 3 nieces, Danielle Douglas, Leah Sykes and Jenna Sykes and many other family and friends. She is loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, FL with Pastors Garry & Jordan Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Friday at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
