Williams – Lloyd Munlyn Williams, Sr., age 88, of Macclenny, Florida passed away on October 9, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Georgia on April 10, 1933 to the late Henry Munlin Williams and Donnie Della Boyd Williams. Lloyd was raised in Georgia and briefly relocated to Arkansas after school where he met the love of his life, Catherine. Lloyd and Catherine were happily married on November 23 and enjoyed over 50 wonderful years of marriage. They resided in Arkansas for a short time before moving to Georgia where they spent the majority of their married life. In 1977, they made Baker County their forever home. Lloyd had a successful career as a Truck Driver. He dedicated many years at Merry Brothers Brick Company and Ashland Oil. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, but more than anything, he loved watching football on television. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Catherine Ruth Williams; daughters, Jackie Louise Lumpkin and Bonnie Green; brothers, Woodrow and Johnny; and sisters, Marlene and Eunice. Lloyd is survived by his loving children, Pat (William R.) Elrod of Greenwood, SC, Rusty (Debbie) Williams of Macclenny, FL, and Floyd (Jeanie) Williams of Greenville, SC; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who Lloyd loved dearly. A Graveside Celebration will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
