Jose “Chein” Miguel Rojas, age 56, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on December 22, 2021 at University Center for Nursing and Healing. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 18, 1965 to Jose Rojas and Isabel Encarnacion. Jose lived in New York until 2004 when he relocated to his forever home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a huge soccer fan. He always loved to lend a helping hand to anyone that need it. Jose was known for his love of cleaning, everyone called him “Mr. Clean”. More than anything, Jose enjoyed taking care of his mom and siblings. Jose has always been proud of his roots. He always used to say how proud he was of being Puerto Rican “Boricua hasta la Muerte”. He loved to dance salsa; he was the life of every party. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose. Rojas. Jose is survived by his mother, Isabel Encarnacion of Atlantic Beach, FL; his son, Jose Emmanuel Rojas of Atlantic Beach, FL; brothers, Francisco (Lisa Cruz) Ruiz of New York, Alex Morales of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Maria Ramos of Atlantic Beach, FL; Maria (Jose) Payan of Jacksonville, FL; Taina (Zach) Bowser of Jacksonville, FL. A Celebration of Jose’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 4:00 pm with Irene López Boston officiating at Ferreira Funeral Services at Beaches Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 at the Beaches Memorial Park Chapel. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
