Keast - Jonathon “John” Earl Keast, age 55, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. John was born on November 30, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida to his parents, Jerry Lee Keast, Sr. and Georgia N. Purdy Keast. He was raised in Jacksonville and relocated to Baker County in the early 1980’s. John graduated from Baker County High School in 1983 and shortly after met the love of his life, Rebecca Lynn Harris. They were happily married on November 14, 1987 and have enjoyed 32 amazing years as best friends. John was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed his career in the Construction field, as a Truck Driver at Publix Distribution, and as a Kitchen Design Technician at Woodsman Kitchen and Floor in Jacksonville where he was currently working. John was very talented with his hands and was passionate about woodworking and photography. More than anything, John loved his family, enjoyed spending time with them, and will be missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rebecca “Becky” Keast of Glen St. Mary, FL; his parents, Jerry Lee Keast, Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA and Georgia Keast of Glen St. Mary, FL; daughters, Christina (Cade) Hutson of Middleburg, FL and Valarie (Manuel) Charbonnier of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Kenneth Keast of Glen St. Mary and Jerry Keast, Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Miles Hutson, Charlie Hutson, and Olivia Charbonnier. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 7:00 pm at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Joshua Potts officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
