Ms. Cathy Ann Miracle

October 16, 1954 - April 25, 2022

Miracle – Cathy Ann Miracle, age 67, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Diamond Assisted Living Facility in Green Cove Springs, Florida with her loving family by her side. She was born October 16, 1954, in Kentucky to the late Hobert Miracle and Virginia Mays Miracle. Cathy honorably served her country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and the National Guard. She traveled extensively while enlisted and was stationed in Germany, South America, and Italy. Cathy finally settled in Jacksonville where she spent the majority of her adult life. She was an avid FSU football fan who enjoyed trivia, reading, shopping, and drinking refreshing diet cokes. She also enjoyed praising and worshipping at the West Normandy Baptist Church. A few years ago, Cathy made Green Cove Springs her forever home. More than anything, Cathy loved her sweet family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father. Cathy is survived by her mother, Virginia Powell of Jacksonville, FL; children, Melissa (Kristin Nygren) Bailey of St. Johns, FL and Matthew Lesley of Macclenny, FL; brothers, Danny “Dicky” (Denise) Miracle of Jacksonville, FL and Joseph “Ricky” (Dorrie) Miracle of Mechanicsburg, OH; along with numerous extended family members. A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 am at the V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
