    Carrie C Starling

    September 23, 1967 - March 22, 2022

Carrie Coburn Starling, age 54, of Lawtey Florida passed away on March 22, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Miami, FL on September 23, 1967, to Larry Coburn and Valarie Mae Ressa Coburn. Carrie relocated from Miami when she was a young girl and has spent most of her life in Bradford County. She graduated from Bradford High School in 1985 and shortly after began her career in the waitressing industry. Carrie loved waitressing and all the people she met along the way. She was employed at Sonny’s BBQ and then Wester Steer for many years before she retired. On February 22, 1991, Carrie married the love of her life, William Starling and together they spent many wonderful years. Carries favorite place was at the beach and she was an avid butterfly collector. More than anything, Carrie loved her family and devoted her life to taking care of them. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Viola Bryant and her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Coburn. Carrie is survived by her parents, Larry and Valrie Coburn; loving husband of 31 years, William Page Starling; children, Richard “Chris” Warren of Lawtey, FL and Valarie Jackson of Maryville, TN; brothers, Chuck (Jennifer) Coburn, Adam, Anthony, Brian; sisters, Carmella (Aurther) Johnson, Vanessa, and Joanna “Kayla”; grandchildren, William “Will” Warren, Lucian Bradley IV, Layton Jackson, Mikia Woodley, Malik Woodley, and a soon to be grandbaby; great granddaughter, Lyla Britton A Memorial Service for Carrie will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services and Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel, Starke, Fl. 904-964-5757.
